Help Your Child

Become a
More Confident Reader

without pressure, shame, or frustration.

They may guess words, rush through books, lose focus, shut down during homework, or say, “I don’t like reading.” But that does not mean your child is lazy, careless, or incapable.

It often means they need the right support.

About the Program

Reading Accelerator is a supportive reading class for children who are building early literacy, reading fluency, comprehension, vocabulary, listening skills, verbal expression, and confidence.

Children receive guided practice in a small-group environment where they can ask questions, make mistakes safely, participate, and improve step by step.

This is not just extra reading practice.

It is a confidence-building literacy program that helps children understand what they read, express their ideas, and develop the thinking tools behind strong reading.

Our program meets them where they are and helps them continue growing with confidence.

Why Reading Skills Matter

Get to Know Us

Strong reading skills support success in every subject — from language arts and writing to science and math word problems.

When children improve their reading fluency and comprehension, they often experience:

  • stronger academic confidence

  • improved focus

  • greater classroom participation

  • more independent learning habits

  • increased enjoyment of reading

Our goal is to help children not only become better readers, but also more confident learners.

Our approach

Supportive, Engaging, and Confidence-Building

At Compass Learning Advantage, we believe children learn best when they feel supported and engaged.

Our instructors create a positive learning environment where children are encouraged to:

  • Participate actively,

  • Ask questions,

  • Build confidence,

  • and enjoy the learning process.

By combining structure with interactive learning, we help children strengthen reading skills while developing a more positive relationship with reading itself.

I'm absolutely blown away by the team at Compass Learning Advantage - they are fantastic. My son has blossomed since attending classes with them.
